This Privacy Policy explains what information Trellis Data Partners ("Trellis," "we," "us," or "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers both this website and the data consulting services we provide to clients.
1. Information We Collect
- Contact information you provide directly – for example, your name, email, phone number, and organization, when you book a call, email us, or fill out a form.
- Scheduling information handled through our booking provider (Cal.com) when you book a consultation, including the date, time, and details you enter.
- Client data you share with us as part of an active engagement – such as database exports or system access – which is used solely to perform the agreed Services and is addressed separately below.
- Basic website usage data that any standard web server or hosting provider collects automatically (such as page requests), used only for keeping the site running and secure.
2. How We Use Information
We use contact and scheduling information to respond to inquiries, schedule and conduct consultations, and communicate about an active or prospective engagement. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Client Data From Engagements
When you engage us for an audit, cleanup, or migration project, you may share sensitive data extracts or system access with us. That data is used only to perform the agreed Services, is handled according to the practices described on our Data Security page (encrypted transfer, a dedicated secure portal rather than email, and access limited to what the engagement requires), and is not used for any purpose beyond that engagement without your consent.
4. Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of third-party services to run our business and this website, including a scheduling provider (Cal.com) for booking consultations and a secure file-transfer provider for exchanging project data. These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the practices of software platforms you or an implementer use as part of a migration project.
5. Data Retention
We retain contact and engagement records for as long as needed to provide the Services and meet reasonable business, tax, and legal recordkeeping needs. Client data extracts shared for an audit or migration are retained only as long as needed to complete that engagement, and deleted or returned afterward on request.
6. Your Choices
You can ask us at any time to correct, delete, or provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and contractual limits (for example, records we're required to retain). To make a request, email info@trellisdatapartners.com.
7. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our scheduling provider (Cal.com) may set its own cookies when its booking widget loads, governed by their privacy policy.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version posted on this page applies going forward.
