Already migrated?

It's not too late to clean up what moved into the new system.

Book Your Data Audit Audits starting at $895 for up to 5,000 records.

What we usually find

The mess didn't stay behind. It moved with the data.

These problems tend to show up a few weeks after go-live, once your team starts relying on the new system and the reports stop adding up.

01

Duplicates that came along

Records that were duplicated in the old system were migrated twice, or merged badly, and now split one person's history across several records.

02

Fields in the wrong place

Data mapped into the wrong field, or into fields nobody uses, quietly skewing searches, lists, and reports.

03

Totals that don't match

Figures in the new system that no longer reconcile with the old books or with what your finance team recorded.

04

Relationships that didn't survive

Households, parent and child links, and related contacts that were flattened or dropped in the move.

How it works

Start with the audit. It works on a live system too.

1

Audit what's live

We start with an export of the live data, or a guest login. You get a written report with record counts for every issue, and a walkthrough with your team.

2

Fix what matters first

The report ends with a prioritized list: what to fix now, what can wait, and what isn't worth the effort. Clean up in-house, with your implementer, or with us.

3

Keep it clean

If you want, we stay on to keep the data from sliding back, through ongoing data management or a post-migration engagement.

The work starts the same way whether the move happened last month or years ago, and whatever system you landed in: if it can export to Excel or CSV, we can audit it.

Common questions

Before you reach out.

Is it too late to fix this?

Usually not. Most problems from a rushed or under-prepared migration can be found in an export of the live system and fixed in place. How much is fixable depends on what the audit turns up, which is why we start there.

Do we have to go back to our implementer?

No. The audit gives you an independent view of your data. If your implementer needs to change something in the build, the report includes a technical section they can work from, and they're welcome to join the walkthrough.

Do we have to hire you for the cleanup?

No. The audit is a standalone deliverable and the report is yours to keep. You can use it to clean up in-house, hand it to your implementer, or work with someone else.

What does the audit cost?

A flat fee based on the size of your database. Audits start at $895 for up to 5,000 records.

You'll be on the call with the person doing the work. I've led multiple CRM migrations from the client side, and every time, clean data to the implementer was on me. Once with no data team at all. Now I do it for you.
